Roxanne Norris

Early Childhood Coordinator

Roxanne Norris, our Early Childhood Coordinator, was born in New York. She recieved a degree in Business Administration, later working for The New York State Department of Labor and Texaco World Headquaters as an Executive Secretary.  Before relocating to Spring Hill ,she worked at St. Eugene’s Catholic School in Yonkers, NY as a teacher’s assistant.  Roxanne and her family moved to Florida in 1998, settling in as parishoners at St. Frances Cabrini. She has a daughter Kristin who recently graduated from Jacksonville University, receiving a degree in Marine Science.  Kristin is currently interning at Florida Fish and Wildlife working with manatees and hopes to become involved with research on whales.

   

Feeling a call to spread the word of God to children, Roxanne began working as a teacher’s assistant at Notre Dame School in Spring Hill. She also was a 2nd grade Catechist  preparing children for First Communion here at St. Frances Cabrini. In 1999, Roxanne was offered a full time position at St. Frances Cabrini as Early Childhood Coordinater.  She wears many hats and oversees many programs in the religious education department.  Roxanne is working towards her Master Catechist Certification from the Diocese of St. Petersburg’s Continuing Education Program and attends Early Childhood Continuing Education courses at PHCC  (Pasco Hernando Commuity College).  When she is not at work, Roxanne enjoys music, concerts, and secretly wants to be a rock star!
