TO EVERYTHING, A SEASON
My Dear Parishioners,
It has been a great honor and blessing to serve you as the Pastor of St. Frances Cabrini for 13 years. However, as we all know, change is inevitable and on July 1, 2019, I will report to my next assignment at St. Mark the Evangelist, in Tampa. We have worked well together, good and faithful servants. We have been strengthened in mission and ministry as a parish family, in support of the Gospel, and all God’s tenets
of reflecting the love and generosity of Jesus, our Savior. Together, we have received the Body and Blood of Christ, listened to the Word of God proclaimed, received forgiveness for our sins in Reconciliation, found communal support in our joys and sorrows; and most importantly
we have found ways to give life to our faith. I am grateful to God and to each of you for the time we have had together to continue to grow and enhance this Beautiful Home for Jesus. Thank you my brothers and sisters in Christ for your kindness and support. I know you will welcome your new Pastor, Reverend David DeJulio, with the same enthusiasm and zest you shared with me as you anticipate the wonderful Spiritual future that is yet to come at St. Frances Cabrini. May God bless each of you, and those you love, all the days of your life.
Yours in Christ,
Father Richard Jankowski,

WOULD YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW LIKE TO BECOME CATHOLIC OR WANT TO COMPLETE THE RITES OF INITIATION IN ORDER TO COME INTO THE FULL COMMUNION OF THE HOLY CATHOLIC CHURCH?
At St. Frances Cabrini Parish, we offer the opportunity to learn more about our faith in a process called RCIA, The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. It is a year-round process so you can join in at any time.
You are welcome to participate in the process with your questions, your insights, and your faith story in a warm and friendly setting.
There are 4 steps to the initiation process:
1. Inquiry Period: Learn what the Roman Catholic Church believes and teaches.
2. Catechumenate Stage: Delve more deeply into the Sacraments and Theology of the Church.
3. Period of Enlightenment: A time for reflecting and discerning your commitment to the Church.
4. Mystagogy: The phase following your reception into the Church.
Anyone interested please call Geri Anderson at the Parish Office, 352-683-9666 ext. 206.
