Clean your closets…
Put your treasures to Good Use

St. Frances Cabrini will host our Cabrini Couture and Boutique during our parish’s sixth annual Feast of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini in November 2019. Again, we thank all our donors who contributed so generously in the past to make this event an exceptional success. The parish net proceeds last year topped every previous year! Results also included great community in all who donated, helped and shopped.
Once again, this year our Couture and Boutique will take place during the upcoming Feast of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, November 7-10, 2019, in the Southside of Xavier Hall.

Kick-off will include a VIP Reception and Fashion Show on Thursday evening, November 7 at 7 p.m. with a preview of the Boutique included in the price of a $15 ticket (limited to first 160). The theme is “Carnival of Venice” and, if you’d like, you can come decked out in your finest.  Theme colors are black and gold. Only 10 Reserved Tables of 8 will be available (first come, first served). Individual ticket holders will be seated at a table with others. Please contact the parish office for tickets.

You won’t want to miss the entertainment this year! People still mention purchases they made at our annual parish Boutique. Your donations
are welcomed, appreciated, and truly celebrated by those who purchase them!  Start now to simplify your life and put your treasures to good use. Items that will be featured in the Couture and Boutique are: New or like-new decorative items, small furniture – vintage or antique, glassware, vases, or paintings, mirrors, Think Upscale! crystal and china; jewelry; women’s scarves, good condition handbags, shoes, and specialty clothing (to be featured in the Fashion Show); Religious books; and other items (in good condition). Perhaps you have received a gift that you haven’t used and someone else might really enjoy.

If you have a question about a donation, please don’t hesitate to call us at 352.683.9666.
Donations will be received during parish office hours.

Fall Bible Study

Are you looking for an anchor to hold you steady through the storms of life? Want the secret to find joy in the midst of trials? Interested in learning to recognize the source of discord and the way to peace? James, one of the most practical books of the Bible, is a collection of teachings on issues faced by ordinary Christians in everyday life.

This fall we will be offering an eleven week study program on the Letter of James. James is one of the most practical books of the Bible. Its teachings speak loudly to those who feel torn between the competing demands of this world and their faith. This study offers
“pearls for wise living” by applying the wisdom of James to our current day. For anyone who has struggled to live a truly Christian life, James offers a wealth of practical solutions for handling and even sanctifying everyday circumstances.

Stay tuned for more information regarding dates and registration information to be provided later in the summer.

ELF The Musical

The Knights of Columbus Assembly 3022 would like to invite you to take advantage of choosing the best seats for the Show Palace Dinner Theater production of “Elf The Musical” on Sunday, December 15 at noon.

Join us for the hilarious tale of Buddy the Elf, a young orphan who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole.  Buddy is raised unaware that he is actually a human until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth.  With Sant’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity.  Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and his step-brother doesn’t even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas!

Tickets are $55 per person for the show and buffet and require just a $10 nonrefundable deposit now with the balance payment due by November 7, or you can pay in full now if you prefer.  This price also includes your non-alcoholic beverages, upgraded dessert, and tip.  For tickets, please call Leo Gasiorowski 352.835.7227.
