All Soul’s Day

Tuesday, November 2nd , we will celebrate All Souls Day with a special 7:00 p.m. mass.

Please join us!

Catholics have a custom of remembering all the faithful departed during the month of November.

The Catholic Church teaches that Purgatory is an expression of God’s love and desire to cleanse our souls of all that might keep us from experiencing the fullness of joy in Heaven. It is a comforting thought that our loved ones are on their way, with the help of God’s unending forgiveness and our prayers, to joining the company of the saints in heaven.

October Honors Our Lady of the Rosary

October 5, 12, 19, 26

During October, we honor Our Lady of the Rosary.  Come join with other parish members and learn about the miracle of her intercession in the 16th century naval victory which secured Europe against Turkish invasion.

Also, learn how to pray the Scriptural Rosary and the Chaplet of

St. Michael, and how these two Servants of God are intertwined.

We will gather each Tuesday in October at 2 p.m. in St. Frances Cabrini Church.

“Where the Rosary is recited, there will be days of peace and tranquility.”  –Saint John Bosco

Interested in becoming Catholic?

At St. Frances Cabrini Parish, we offer the opportunity to learn more about our faith in a process called RCIA, The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults.  It is a year-round process so you can join in at any time.

You are welcome to participate in the process with your questions, your insights, and your faith story in a warm and friendly setting.

There are 4 steps to the initiation process:

1. Inquiry Period: Learn what the Roman Catholic Church believes and teaches.

2. Catechumenate Stage: Delve more deeply into the Sacraments and Theology of the Church.

3. Period of Enlightenment: A time for reflecting and discerning your commitment to the Church.

4. Mystagogy: The phase following your reception into the Church.

Anyone interested please call Geri Anderson at the Parish Office, 352-683-9666 ext. 206.
