Trick or Treat
Monday, October 31- Xavier Hall
5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Halloween literally means All Hallows’ Eve or All Saints’ Eve.
We forget that Halloween originally was meant to prepare for
All Saints Day, November 1st.
In order to focus our attention to this important fact,
we will have our “Harvest Celebration on October 31st,
We encourage parents to have their children
dress as a favorite saint or as their guardian angel.
Traditional Halloween costumes are also welcome.
This year, our Harvest Celebration will begin
in Xavier Hall beginning with an
Opening Prayer, followed by a parade.
All are invited to Xavier Hall for fun, food and fellowship.
Why not start your evening celebration here at St. Frances with a movie, craft, game station and a candy corn/pumpkin raffle.
We will also provide hot dogs/grilled cheese, bag of chips
and a drink so your child will be ready to “trick or treat”
in your neighborhood when our celebration ends.
Each child will also receive a
bag of candy at the end of our celebration!
