  • 7 Week Faith Formation program

Beginning January 25 we will begin a seven week Faith Formation program on David the King.  Join us for Bishop Robert Barron's newest study and experience how the whole New Testament opens up once we see it through the person of David.  David's kingship recalls that of Adam in the Garden of Eden, and also foreshadows that of Jesus, the son of David.  Adam was the first king and steward of the rightly ordered Garden of Eden.  He was called to govern the garden according to God's mind and purposes, yet he did not fulfill his kingly responsibility.  Long after Adam, David emerged as a model king who would restore order in the Garden and bring the world under the lordship of God.  But like Adam, David fell, and his reign ushered in a succession of compromised kings and rejected prophets...until the coming of the King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus Christ.  Registration forms are in the Parish Office.  Cost:  $25.00

  • Lenten Spirituality Deepening Opportunity for Women

    Begins Friday, February 16th
    1:00 - 2:30 p.m.   in Classrooms 5 & 6

Lent is the perfect time to commit to deepening our individual prayer lives.  We invite all women to our six-week spiritual deepening workshop.  during our time together you will learn about and practice the art of spiritual reading, lectio divina (divine reading), active listening, and practicing the prayer of presence: how to be fully present to God and others.  These spiritual practices are fully rooted in our Catholic tradition and will surely deepen and nurture your prayer life.

There is no cost! The only requirement is your commitment, an open heart, and a desire to grow in faith.  Bring a notebook, pen or pencil, and folder to hold your weekly handouts.  Please contact the church office to register.
