Choir

The Parish Choir sings weekly at the 9:30 am Sunday Mass and most major Feasts and Solemnities from Sept. through May. Rehearsals are on Thurs. evenings at 6:30 pm. The choir is open to singers of high school age or older who can follow direction and have a pleasant singing voice. Music reading and/or formal vocal training is not required. Singing most Sundays and attending most rehearsals is requested. New members will have a short, private interview with the director to assess their vocal range. If you are interested in joining our music ministry, please contact Chris Berke.

Sacristans

In Luke 22:7-13 Jesus sends the apostles Peter and John into Jerusalem to fine and prepare the upper room for the Passover meal.  These apostles in essence were the first sacristans.

Here at St. Frances Cabrini, the Sacristans seek to support the good order of all Eucharistic Celebrations. They provide invaluable help to the priest before, during, and after Mass, thus helping him to offer a prayerful and Holy Mass to the people gathered for the celebration.

To qualify, you must be an adult or older teen who has received the Sacrament of Confirmation, serious about the practice of the faith, be attentive to details, and actively participates in the Mass. He or she must be a regular parishioner and approved by the pastor with a joyful willingness to serve.

If you are interested in being a Sacristan at St. Frances Cabrini, please contact Ray Heter at the parish office. It is a beautiful and rewarding ministry.

St. Veronica’s Altar Linen Ministry

Do you have a heart for service and a love for our Lord? Our parish has a ministry opportunity for any who would like to help care for the altar linens used during the celebration of the Holy Mass. This beautiful ministry is a quiet act of love and devotion that supports the reverence and dignity of the Eucharistic celebration.
Responsibilities include:

  • Washing, ironing, and folding the altar linens.
  • Ensuring they are clean, pressed, and ready for Mass.
  • Serving the Lord through this meaningful behind-the-scenes ministry.
“Whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.”
    — 1 Corinthians 10:31
For more information or to volunteer, please contact Ray Heter at the Parish Office. Thank you for prayerfully considering this opportunity to serve Christ and His Church.
