Ministers must be fully initiated Roman Catholics who have a willingness to be of service to the community and able to serve at any mass.  To become an Extraordinary Minister, you must express an interest to the Pastor and/or Director of Liturgical Ministries.  Every year there is a mandatory re-commitment. After we receive your application, a training class will be scheduled to instruct on the theology of the Eucharist and the distribution of communion in our church. We attempt to schedule according to your mass preference. This ministry is open to all men and women of the parish and to High School students who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation.

We also bring Holy Communion to patients at the following community healthcare facilities: Oak Hill Hospital, Spring Hill Rehab, HealthSouth Rehab, and Atria Evergreens Woods (ALS), and Evergreen Woods Health and Rehab.
